2010 Air Force Worldwide Contracting Awards & Training Conference

Air Force Acquisition and Contracting in particular, is making large strides in recapturing “Acquisition Excellence.” Our military Contracting Professionals continue to lead the Joint fight in Overseas Contingency Operations while our civilian workforce remains the backbone to ensure our home station missions succeed. While our Air Force Contracting community is filled with talented and dedicated professionals, the strain on our workforce is clearly evident. This year’s theme, Three “Eyes” to the Future – Integrity, Innovation and Investment! highlights this current focus on enhancing our workforce and continuing our commitment to “Acquisition Excellence.”

The WWCATC is an important part of our workforce development and will cover a variety of training topics pertinent to the issues facing Contracting Professionals today. Engaging speakers will share their expertise, insight and experience with the group as a whole, while breakout panel sessions will give attendees an interactive forum for focused discussions. Additionally, we are honored to culminate this year’s conference with a formal banquet in recognition of our annual award winners.

This is an outstanding opportunity for Air Force Contracting Professionals to participate in an exchange of ideas and learn about the latest in Contracting policy and initiatives, as we continue to strive to Be America’s Best…War-winning Capabilities on Time, on Cost!
