The Naval Postgraduate School (NPS) Software Engineering Automation (SEA) Center is the world’s foremost facility for military graduate education and research in Software Engineering.
The SEA Center assembles world-renowned faculty with a strong blend of industry and academic expertise, experienced military officers and government civilian students. Together with top world academic institutions, industry and DoD organizations, they address DoD Software Engineering needs, primarily in the following activities:
- Software automation research on DoD software programs and symbolic languages that control the functioning of hardware and direct its operation, leading to superior methods and tools for software development engineering and decision support.
- DoD reimbursable projects to assess technologies, analyze requirements, evaluate proposals, develop solutions and build prototypes.
