Supports engineering design of new electronic systems by providing modeling, functional acceptance testing, test software, and fault analysis for electronic circuit boards used in the Fleet.
Modeling and functional acceptance testing of circuit boards, both single- and double-sided, up to 9 by 11 inches, allows engineers to verify designs prior to full-scale production and Fleet deployment.
Microprocessor boards are tested through the use of ROM emulation software. A fault dictionary is generated for each type of board tested and is maintained as new faults are encountered. Fault analysis allows designers to track faults and components that may need repair or replacement during the unit’s life cycle
