Established to support the development and procurement of mission-critical software for embedded systems. With increasing Navy dependence on compact, lightweight, and multifaceted systems, the reliance on software is expanding.
STL becomes involved in programs to ensure that Government software standards are adhered to, that the operational requirements of systems are being met by the software, and that the safety of personnel and equipment is not compromised.
Resources include a wide variety of test equipment that can simulate events and monitor the performance of various microprocessors used in embedded system design. STL’s personnel are also well versed in several software languages.
