Description:
The Industry day will cover topics such as the Performance Work Statements for each Domain, NAICS Code and general procurement strategy for the D3I Program.

Registration:
Register for D3I Industry Day on the Jackson Conference Center Website (http://jacksoncenter.net/conference_registration.html) no later 10:00 am CST, Thursday, February 17, 2011. When registering, enter the conference name as ""D3I Industry Day"". Attendee's name, company affiliation, and complete contact information is required for all attendees. In order to promote an informative and successful conference, attendance is by registration - only those with a confirmed registration by this office will be permitted to attend and there is a limit of 500 attendees for this conference. Registration is limited to no more than five (5) representatives per company.
You may submit questions that you would like to have answered at Industry Day via email to Summer McDermott, Contract Specialist, at summer.mcdermott@smdc.army.mil. Questions must be received via email before 10:00 am CST, February 11, 2011.
Please refer to the Draft Performance Work Statements posted 20 December 2010 on the SMDC website at http://www.smdc.army.mil/2008/D3I.asp.
A list of all attendees and questions with answers will be published along with the briefing slides after Industry Day.

Directions:
From the South or West
1.From Birmingham, take I-65 North past Decatur across the Tennessee River to the next exit, exit 340 (I-565 and Alabama highway 20). There are 2 long exit lanes. Bear to the right onto I-565 East.
2.Take exit 14 (Research Park Boulevard) North. There are two exit lanes, stay in the left one, go less than 0.5 miles and go under Research Park Boulevard to loop around up onto Research Park Boulevard North.
3.Take the first exit, Madison Pike. At the top of the ramp bear right and cross back over Research Park Boulevard.

From the East
1.From I-565, take exit 14 (Research Park Boulevard) North. Stay in the right lane, go less than 0.5 miles and take the Madison Pike exit. At the top of the ramp bear right and cross back over Research Park Boulevard.

From The North
1.From University Boulevard (U.S. 72), take Research Park Boulevard South. Take the Madison Pike exit. At the top of the ramp turn left.

1.Go to the 3rd traffic light and turn right onto Voyager Way.
2.Drive about 0.5 mile to the traffic light at Explorer Blvd. Turn left.
3.Turn at the next street to the right, Discovery Drive.
4.From Discovery, turn left on Moquin.
5.Jackson Center is at Moquin and 600 Genome Way
Car pooling is strongly advised as parking is limited.
